Each parcel leaving our Vienna atelier is cushioned in custom molded bio-degradable air pockets, double-corrugated outer cartons, and tamper-evident security tape. All crystal and tableware shipments carry full commercial transit insurance.

3. Temperature-Controlled Packaging for Gourmet Cellar Items
When ordering fresh winter truffles, cold-pressed oils, or delicate culinary provisions from our Gourmet Cellar collection, we incorporate insulated thermal liners and non-toxic frozen gel packs during warm weather months to maintain cellar temperature integrity throughout transit.
4. Customs, Duties & International Taxes
For deliveries within the European Union, no additional customs tariffs or import fees apply. Prices include the statutory 20% Austrian VAT.
For deliveries to non-EU destinations (including the UK, Switzerland, USA, and Australia), goods are exported free of Austrian VAT (reverse tax). The recipient is responsible for any applicable local import duties, customs clearance brokerage fees, and local value-added taxes assessed upon arrival in the destination country. 5. Damaged or Broken Shipments Protocol
In the improbable event that your mouth-blown crystal or porcelain arrives damaged during transit:
- Photograph the exterior shipping box and damaged items immediately upon arrival.
- Send the photographs and your order number to concierge@finedine.shop within 48 hours of delivery.
- Our Vienna team will arrange an immediate priority courier replacement or complete reimbursement under our transit insurance policy without requiring you to return shattered pieces.
